Your Privacy Matters
Olivo is built by parents, for parents. We take your family's privacy seriously. Your conversations about your children are personal and sacred. We treat them that way.
What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service: your name, email address, faith tradition preference, child profile information you choose to share, your conversation history with Olivo, and your cell number if you choose to give it. We do not collect browsing data, location, or any information beyond what you explicitly provide.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide personalized biblical parenting guidance. We use your faith tradition to tailor scripture references. We use child profiles to give age-appropriate guidance. Conversation history allows multi-turn discussions. We never use your data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose beyond serving you.
No Tracking, No Ads
Olivo does not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or advertising networks. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. There are no third-party trackers on this site.
Data Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a high cost factor and are never stored in plain text. Your data is stored in a secure, encrypted database hosted on infrastructure with enterprise-grade security.
AI Processing
To answer you, your question and the details you have shared about your child are sent to Anthropic, the company whose AI model Olivo uses. Your conversations are not used to train AI models. So that Olivo can follow up with you, your earlier questions and the steps you marked as tried are kept in your Olivo account and read again when you ask something new. Nothing is remembered outside your Olivo account.
Your Rights
You can view and update your details and your children's profiles at any time in your account. You can remove a conversation or a show check yourself under Past questions, remove a record from your tree, and remove a child's profile. What you remove is deleted, not hidden. To have your whole account deleted, contact support@olivoparenting.com and we will remove it. Upon deletion, all your data (including conversations, child profiles, and analyses) is permanently removed.
Payments
If you take a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. You type your card on Stripe's own page and it never reaches Olivo. Stripe receives your email address so it can send your receipt. Olivo keeps only that you have a plan, which one, and when it renews.
Text Messages
A cell number is optional. If you give one and tick the box to agree, Olivo may text you reminders once text reminders are switched on. Your number is used for that and nothing else, and is never sold or shared for marketing. You can untick the box or remove your number in Settings at any time.
When Olivo sends you an email, such as a link to set a new password, your email address is passed to the email service that delivers it. It is used for that message and nothing else.
